Could we be getting NEW Faith No More music this year? Please Lord, let this happen. I don't ask for much.. We did see a FNM reunion tour recently sans guitar man Jim Martin. So I guess that's something.
I’m a huge Faith No More fan. In fact, Angel Dust was my very FIRST “Parental Advisory” CD. I had my older brother buy it for me, and to this day I hide it from my mom. Anyway, back on topic..
It's been under my mattress for 22 years.. I need a new matress.
Faith No More’s Mike Patton recently started a Twitter account for the band. That’s a good sign. THEN he participated in that oh so important internet tradition, the selfie. Sigh. He said the recent "reunion thing" was fun, but "now it's time to get a little creative." COULD that mean a new album? If so I doubt he’d ever get Martin back in the lineup. Martin is still no over his mystical feud with the band and has only spoken about them publicly once since 1992.
This was how we new what CD's we wanted in the 1990's
In the meantime, however, FNM fans can look forward to seeing the band in London on July 4th and in Poland on July 5th. I won’t be going. Feel bad for me.

Duddy: My Favorite snack… Mini-Pies. I make these at home. They’re literally like thick apple pie, but really small. But it still looks exactly like an apple pie. I call them “Pieders.” Pie Sliders.
“Pieders, Where Every Day Is Your Cheap Day”
Duddy: I have bought the website and patented it [“Pieders”]. The world will know the joy of holding a pie in your hand and eating it without any silverware.
Old Rap Tapes
Duddy: It is literally like ten dudes in a garage, my dad built a soundproof room in our garage. …We would go there after parties… I had this little four-track, mini-disc recorder and a cashio keyboard. We would make the dumbest beats and everyone would have rap on the song.
Utah Reggae-Rock scene
Duddy: You[Salt Lake City], are more of a mountain town. And this more like beach music… Utah, especially, has an amazing scene for out type of music.
escpeccially, has an amazing scene for out type of music.
Of course standard iconography like snow, Mormons, Imagine Dragons and Fry Sauce made the list but we had no idea our playlist and Radio From Hell would be included by Movoto, a real estate site, would name X96 as one of 25 reasons to move to Salt Lake City. "The 'Radio From Hell' morning show is a healing salve for commuters, and the “Boners of the Day” segment features people who make you feel like a genius."
Fact is, no one would know who the hell we were if it weren't for those who listen and support the station, RFH and the music.

Bastille recently performed "Pompeii" live with an orchestra in the Capitol Studios. I loved it, so please check it out
As usual, I'm not allowed to use pictures. So I made my own!
Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan is looking to demonstrate his endurance later this month. I'm not sure if anyone has every questioned the endurance of Billy.. I mean, is that really something that comes up in conversation? Anyways. The bald frontman has announced plans to play for at least eight hours straight at his Chicago teahouse, Madame Zuzu's. That sounds like fun.
Corgan says the "on the fly" performance will be "centered around an ambient/musical interpretation" of Herman Hesse's spiritual coming-of-age tale "Siddhartha." The epic gig is set to take place February 28th, and Corgan says information about the free admission will be announced soon.
Everyone get through that? Good because I damn near fell asleep writing it. I had fun making the picture though.
