Tuesday: Remember WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? That improv show from waaay back in the day? It’s back, but now hosted by Aisha Tyler instead of Drew Carey. After the re-premiere of that, soon-to-be-canceled new dating show THE PERFECT SCORE debuts (The CW). Sexy spy drama COVERT AFFAIRS also returns tonight, followed by lawyer-y lawyer drama SUITS (USA).
Wednesday: Hard to believe, but it’s only the second-season premiere of HERE COMES HONEY BOO BOO—seems more like it’s been on for 10—followed by the debut of WEDDING ISLAND, which features no smoke monsters, sadly (TLC).
Thursday: PROJECT RUNWAY is back for its 45th season (Lifetime); INTERVENTION says goodbye forever because Dr. Drew has cured everyone (A&E); and, following a repeat of last week’s Twitter-buster SHARKNADO, frat bros steal a cursed Egyptian artifact from a casino in BLAST VEGAS, thus unleashing disaster upon the Strip … whatever, where’s Bearvalanche? (Syfy)
Sunday: New fall animated series AXE COP and HIGH SCHOOL USA! get a sneak-peak tonight—they’re 15 minutes apiece, so you’ll only need your Adult Swim attention span (Fox). In the Season 4 premiere of SISTER WIVES, we learn that Sister Wives is still a thing (TLC). Catch up on episodes 5-6 of the fifth season of BREAKING BAD before new episodes arrive Aug. 11, free tonight at 8 pm (Brewvies, 677 South 200 West, 21+).
Sweatpants intervention at Gina Barberi’s house tonight, pass it on …
